    I think it would be better if we were able to go into app and input times in case we forgot to hit start or whatever! I always forget to clock n and out and I can’t go back n fix it thank god I write all my hours n times down

    Not the best with phone support all done by typing which I dislike can’t get anyone on the phone and huge issue and no one seems as if they want to make a change in the issue it gives itemized material list on invoice that should be hidden or an option

    I was referred to Housecall Pro by a fellow contractor. Everything was great until inputting info from quickbooks then we had some issues. We had seemed to resolve the issues then I noticed the total for invoices was off dramatically from what our monthly totals were roughly, I’m a numbers guy so I knew that something was definitely wrong.I always knew my numbers to the fraction/decimal each month before quickbooks/houscall pro by using a simple spreadsheet.My wife runs quickbooks for the business and I guess we had been convinced by housecall pro that the online version would be much more fluid/simplified.When I notified my wife of the discrepancy she contacted them but it took all day as they will only message, I’m guessing this is due to the help all working remotely from their home/couch. I finally told my wife that either they speak over the phone or we cancel, when they heard cancel we were in direct contact with multiple people via phone. We spoke of our issues as the running balance was not jiving with our numbers, they were all confused.They said issues like this happened before but nobody there is fluid with quickbooks in combo with housecall pro?????What?????We were then told for issues such as this there is “one” man, yes “one” man, an outside vendor,who knows quickbooks and housecall pro and we need to contact him but if the price is too high get back into contact with them. If I ran my business this way I would be out of business, I keep a 60+ hour schedule so I said just go with it.We have contacted this “one” guy now, placed a down payment and were told by the end of the week he should have an answer. This “one” guy asked if when we switched to online quickbooks did housecall pro have us do this,this and this, we answered no. This “one” guy stated yeah they never tell people this but again he would be in touch by Thursday the next week. It has now been a week since that Thursday and no word from him. So Housecall could not resolve the issue, send us to an outside vendor and we place a deposit. I’m out an additional $600.00 with nothing resolved and this week our collected total is actually decreasing. If I would pull myself from the field I would know some of the finer points but I stay where my time is most valuable. I am giving housecall pro and this “guy” 3 days then cancelling to another service. I cannot imagine having hired help with these issues and complete lack of support.

    HCP has been an amazing tool for our business, but the app lacks many of the features needed to make it useful. Some recommendations: •See My Money screen in app •Let admins see FULL schedule in app, not just jobs assigned to me •See activity feed in app •See if customers have viewed estimates I know HCP is always very receptive to feedback, so I look forward to future improvements!!
