  • Works Perfectly

    By VastYoshi1019
I use my iPad as my second monitor. It is completely free and now I don’t need a monitor for streaming. The touchscreen works perfectly and I am having no problems so far. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants a second monitor.
  • Works well on Windows 10

    By Elemental 1
Ok I was a bit skeptical about an app with low ratings and not updated in a year. I also don’t know why there are 2 different apps named XDisplay by the same company. But it works well for my usage. Yes there is some lag and constant 20% CPU utilization, but for my needs (stock market and weather display) it works fine. It’s cheaper (well free) compared to its competitors.
  • Killed my PC

The Desktop Program killed Windows 10 and I had to Restore.
  • Solid connection for viewing

    But is laggy with touch.
  • Amazing With My MacBook Pro and my iMac Pro

    By Christopher.Gilluly
It is so good with my MacBook Pro and iMac Pro, great performance, not laggy, no bugs, and more
  • Still no Mojave support

    By Liquidsmk
It’s been months and every other screen sharing app has been updated to fix this issue with macOS 10.14 except for Splashtop. I only bought this because it says right in the description that you are working on a fix. I will be be looking to get a refund soon. 3/27/2019 edit As of today the description of this app states “****macOS 10.14 is currently not supported. We are still working on a fix!”
  • Works GREAT

I tried several monitor programs - this is the ONLY one that works. No problems at all. I’m running a surface book 1 and iPad 12 1st gen.
  • Stable, little sluggish

    By Graton8401
Liking it, super easy to set up. As others have mentioned, the mouse is slower than the laptop. It is possible to adjust screen resolution... default is pretty small.
  • Works a million times better than Duet when using premiere pro on windows 10

    By InternCat
I suppose duet is still more technically better than XDisplay; it uses less CPU on my laptop, runs at higher resolutions at better quality and smoother frame rates. However, whatever technical wizardry the duet team came up with crashes my computer whenever I open premiere pro, which is pretty much the only software I’d want to use with an iPad as a monitor. XDisplay is leagues better than Duet in this regard, since it actually “works”. At a lower price than nearly every other competitor and the most reliable app for this use case that I’ve used so far, I have to give it a 5 star review. I do hope it’ll receive some updates to make it run better and at less CPU usage, but I’ll take a reliable second monitor over 10% extra cpu headroom any day. Some requested features: Give us the option to turn off the touch screen. I’ve already turned off the touch screen in device manager on win10 through disabling the “HID-compliant touch screen”, though it’d be better to have this in app. Why does the app behave as if it’s locked in full screen? On a 3rd gen iPad Pro, this means you have to swipe at least twice from each edge in order to activate their respective functions. Pulling down the control center, swiping in a slide over app and pulling up the dock are all much more difficult to achieve due to this implementation.
  • The best for your buck

    By Badbrady2005
I just got the app and it works well. People are saying that they had to pay 3 dollars for their version but I was able to get mine for free. I defiantly recommended this especially for people who aren’t going to be using this on a day to day basis due to the slight lag but other than that it is perfect.
