  • Pathetic

First they want you to download the app second they want you to sign up and confirm your stupid phone number that you currently have third they want you to fully signed up and finish the rest of the process and then after that it’s done then I think pops up saying you need to pay for it for a membership monthly. IDIOTS.
  • I like this app.

So I got this app about 2 1/2 years ago. When it was free. Then it switched to a subscription. I was fine with that because it was so good. One of the best app I’ve tried. Well I don’t need the app anymore but I thought I’d write a review for the people who hesitant about this app. But one thing I’d like to say is when you no longer need this app make sure you cancel the subscription, because know for a fact I did and I’m still being charged.
  • The best 2nd phone line app out there

I have seen many "free" phone/ text app that as soon as you try to make the first call or send text, it tells you that you don't have $ in your balance, that you need to buy minutes. Sideline does not play those games, as long as you use it at least once every 30 days, it stays truly free. Best app.
  • Overall a good app, but...

...if you wish to port out your number one day, expect to pay $19.95 and wait up to five days for completion. That's my only complaint.
  • Pretty good, needing a search bar to find numbers

App is pretty good! No complaints! Very convenient to be able to text from the computer. All that is missing is a search bar to search through previous text messages
  • The app has stopped working

I’ve been using this app on and off for a few years now. I had always been satisfied but now the app has stopped working.
  • Wish it would stop saying I have messages

When I clearly do not. Minus that it's all good.
  • Fast Customer Service

Downloaded app to setup a team phone number. Accidentally deleted myself from the number chosen. Used the “contact us” feature. Within 15 minutes (At 11pm at night) they emailed back and forth and reconnected me to the phone number. Polite and expedient.
  • No ability to search texts

    By Macman90069
Love the app and concept. Have been a subscriber for sometime. I just wish I could search the text content to find specific items (like native text in iOS and Android allow). The other issue is app stability. It does crash from time to time, especially when pictures and videos are included.
  • Unreliable

I’ve been using this app for close to two years and have to say there are major issues: Sideline blocks popular VPN IPs. Instead of developing a more sophisticated way of preventing fraud & abuse, sideline drops the hammer with blanket IP bans. This means if my VPN is on, the app is 100% non-functional. I’ve brought up this before with Pinger/Sideline but they don’t care to develop better security to serve their paying customers. Free competitors to this app do not have this issue. Airpods are non-functional with this app and you will likely hang up on your call attempting to use airpods. No callkit support. Sideline decided to build their own “dialer” when I would prefer them to use iOS callkit.
